If you have a dislocated shoulder, is it true that you are more prone to having it happen again?

Dislocated shoulders are not like a condition that can repeat itself, such as a migraine or an asthma attack. However, once you have dislocated a shoulder, it is more delicate if the ligaments were damaged. The shoulder may not be as stable any longer, so any fall or blow to it could cause it to dislocate easier than if it had never been injured before.
