Is there a specific injection that could be more beneficial for chronic low back pain?
Recent review of available studies indicates that non-target specific epidural spinal injections may provide short-term benefit for chronic low back pain. However, if chronic low back pain has been diagnosed as discogenic, evidence may suggest that a transforaminal epidural steroid injection may be more appropriate.
