Since people with rheumatoid arthrosis are prone to having involvement in the cervical spine, is it possible to have involvment in the lumbar spine?
A recent study of 104 patients with rheumatoid arthritis for 10 years or longer showed that 45 percent had changes in the lumbar spine identified on either Xray or magnetic resonance imaging.
