I had surgery to restore movement in two fingers that had been permanently bent because of Dupuytren’s. Now I have a lack of feeling in the tip of one of those fingers. Will this go away?

Occasionally, a nerve is unintentionally divided during the surgery. This can leave a finger permanently numb but is usually more an annoyance than a problem. You should report this to your physician. You may still experience improvement up to 18 months after the surgery.
